Main assumptions of the project:
In the years 2014 - 2015 in partnership with the School Complex No. 1 in Piekary Śląskie project entitled " "Improving professional qualifications of students of the School Complex No. 1 in Piekary Slaskie". The aim of the project was to increase the chances and attractiveness of 105 pupils (including 25 women) in the labor market of Oski S Computer-Soft sp. Z o.o. internships. Participants in the program were students of the faculties: IT technician, electrical technician and economist technician. Traineeships were conducted in 15 person groups of 150h / person. The schedule included, among others. Get acquainted with the principles of functioning of the company, its structure and tasks in particular positions. In addition, trainees were involved in assembling computer sets, disassembling electronic devices and assembling them.
Significance of the project and involvement of O & S Computer-Soft sp. Z o.o. It was appreciated by the Marshal's Office of the Silesian Voivodeship - the representative of the company was invited as an expert to participate in the conference. "Time for Professionals! The future of vocational education and ROP WSL 2014-2020 ", during which experts and participants of EU projects debated the future of vocational education in Silesia. The project was co-financed by the European Social Fund under the Operational Program Human Capital, Priority IX Development of education and competences in regions, Action 9.2. Improving the attractiveness and quality of vocational education.
Innovation:
Developing an innovative internship program - enabling it to continue to be used by O & S and other companies - is divided into two parts: workshop (conducted by experienced practitioners in the field) and individual (work in the work environment). Participants have the opportunity to use and deepen their theoretical skills acquired, and to enrich their knowledge and skills with practical skills. The length of the placement was 150h for each participant. There were 15 trainees.
